TechTrex Inc. (TTI) and DOMUS IT Security Laboratory are pleased to announce the PCI approval granted for the S700 terminal under the PCI PED Program.

"We are delighted to be the first in the Canadian market with a PCI PED 2.0 approval. This assures our customers that our S700 has successfully completed the rigorous PCI PIN Entry Device (PED) 2.0 testing requirements" says Daniel Kim, General Manager at TTI. The S700 terminal is a highly-secure device processing transactions at a relatively low cost; it supports Serial, USB or Ethernet connectivity.

The PCI PED 2.0 testing was performed by DOMUS IT Security Laboratory. "The S700 PED has met the stringent testing requirements of the PCI PED 2.0 program and we are pleased to have been able to provide these testing services to TTI to allow them to bring one of the first PCI 2.0 approved devices to market." says Jason Lawlor, Director of Business Development at DOMUS.

Earlier this year, the S700 terminal received Interac TSTR (chip) certification by DOMUS Laboratory.
